Cotton is a soft, single-celled fiber that grows from the epidermis of the seeds of the cotton plant (Gossypium). These fibers are spun into threads and used to make soft, breathable textiles. The cotton fiber is twined together with a rayon fiber and then woven into a high-quality piece of canvas. The coating is done mechanically 3x with a high-quality gesso.
