Cotton is a soft, single-celled fiber that grows from the epidermis of the seeds of the cotton plant (Gossypium). These fibers are spun into threads and used to make soft, breathable textiles. The cotton fiber is twisted together with a rayon fiber and then woven into a high-quality piece of canvas. The coating is done by machine 3x with a high-quality gesso. These cotton canvas cloths from Greenleafs are very suitable for study and hobby.
